Saxophonist Chelsey Parker will present her Bluffton University senior recital at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, in Yoder Recital Hall. The performance is free and open to the public.

Parker, from McComb, Ohio, will perform seven numbers on alto, tenor and baritone saxophone, including pieces by Beethoven, Bach and 2013 Bluffton alumnus Scott Troyer. She is a student of Dr. Adam Schattschneider, a professor of music who will assist during the recital on soprano saxophone. Also assisting, on alto saxophone, will be Andrew Honse, a 1998 Bluffton graduate and McComb Schools band director.

Pianist Ana Yoder Coulter will accompany Parker during the recital. It is presented in partial fulfillment of her requirements for graduation with a major in music, and a concentration in performance studies.
