Alice Kohli had worked at several Bluffton businesses
Alice J. Kohli, 81, of Mt. Cory, died at 4:19 a.m., October 7, 2014 at Bridge Hospice, Findlay. She was born December 20, 1932 in Ada to the late Eugene and Mozelle Bullock Thompson. On April 28, 1950 she married Harold B. Kohli and he preceded her in death on October 11, 2004.
Alice retired from Bridge Home Health Care, Findlay. She had also driven school bus for Bath School, worked at Triplett Corp., Bluffton, RCA, Findlay, Rammel Florist, Bluffton, Monsanto in Lima and the Imperial Discount Grocery, Bluffton. She loved flower and vegetable gardening and was a member of the Gathering Herb Society. She also enjoyed baking and did china painting. Alice was a member of True Word Tabernacle, Bluffton.
Survivors include a daughter, Debra (Michael) Bish of Ada, three sons, Robert Kohli of Continental, Richard (Cathy) Kohli of Lima, Jeffrey (Corrine) Kohli of Mt. Cory, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, four sisters, Dorothy Lenhart of Dola, Mabel Hathaway of Ada, Ruby Ludwig of Greenville, Shirley High of Mayfield and a brother, Donald (Wilma) Thompson of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Thayer.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10 at Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Bluffton. Rev. Ray Erickson will officiate. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, Bluffton . Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the True Word Tabernacle.
