Jeffery Newland 1951-2014
Jeffrey P. Newland, 63, died on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
He was born on Nov. 22, 1951, in Bluffton, Ohio to Torence Robert and Dorothea (Neu) Newland and they preceded him in death.
He formerly worked at Ohio Northern University in the Janitorial Department.
He is survived by two daughters: Amber (Zack Hosler) Wireman of Alger and Tabitha Newland of Lima; four grandchildren; four brothers: Dennis (Kathy) Burris of Ada, Steve (Pat) Burris of Lima, Robert Newland, Jr. of Lakeview and Mike (Sue) Newland of Lima; one sister: Diana (Bill) Hoffer of Ada; a step sister, Carol Fletcher of Ada; step mother, Della Newland of Ada.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Burris.
A graveside service will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Cemetery, Ada, with Pastor Thomas Dearth officiating.
