Marie Andrews worked at Triplett Corporation
Marie Elizabeth Andrews, 92, passed away December 11, 2014 at 9:34 a.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Marie was born July 9, 1922 near Dola, Ohio to the late William and Sophia (Frank) Hartman. On February 24, 1952 she married Robert D. Andrews who preceded her in death on June 6, 1974.
Marie graduated from Arlington High School. She had been a homemaker and also had worked at Triplett Corporation, Bluffton and Ohio Oil Company, Findlay. Marie was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton. She was an avid reader and loved music.
Survivors include two sons Ed (Nancy) Andrews of Fort Jennings, Eric Andrews of Jenera; a daughter, Karen (Charles) Snare of Chadron, Nebraska; three grandchildren Robert (Alesha) Andrews, Tara (Eric) Mackert, Tammi (Chad) VanBibber; and seven great grandchildren Hayden, Harper, Hadley Andrews, Kaylyn and Max Mackert, Liam and Levi VanBibber.
Marie was preceded in death by a son Earl Andrews; two brothers Harold and Clarence Hartman; and three sisters Della Bame, Lydia Beagle and Luella Wolford.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Bluffton. Pastor Jeremy Mann officiating. Burial will be in Emmanuel United Church Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
