Construction in Bluffton during 2014 totaled $9.9 million
Building permits in Bluffton in 2014 totaled $9,912,909, according to figures released this week by Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator.
The total includes:
• Commercial and industrial at $9,200,000
• Residential at $712,909
The largest construction project involved GROB Systems, with its $8.2 million expansion. The second largest was Hancock Investor Group, which constructed a multi-family development at 44 State Route 103, listed at $900,000.
There were 31 residential building permits recorded in 2014. Those ranged from new single-family residences, garages, accessory buildings and smaller projects.
