May 2
-Officers responded to the university and took a report of a stolen laptop from a dorm room.
May 3
-Officers discovered several juveniles on top of an abandoned building.
May 4
-Police took an assault complaint from a Matterhorn Dr. resident.
-Police received a complaint from an Eastland Dr. resident who reported someone had stolen numerous lawn ornaments from the residence.
-Officers arrested Jeffery Zeigler, 18, Lima for OVI, Possession of Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Grove St. Several juveniles were also in the vehicle and were turned over to their parents. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
May 7
-Officers arrested Timothy Thomason, 22, Dayton for Persistent Disorderly Conduct after finding him walking in the backyards of residences on Riley St. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
-Police received a complaint from a bank after they discovered numerous items had been taken from a residence that had been foreclosed on.
-Police responded to the university and took a report of a theft of a laptop and purse from a university resident who stated the items were taken from an unlocked vehicle.
-Police took a criminal damaging complaint from a Mentor resident who stated that damage had been done to his vehicle while it was parked at a Commerce Ln. business.
May 9
-Officers responded to a SR 103 business and took a report of a mailbox having been damaged by an unknown vehicle.
May 10
-Police responded to a Vance St. residence and took a complaint of a theft of money. The money was later located by officers.
May 13
-Officers took a theft complaint from a Harmon Rd. resident that stated unknown persons had purchased cell phones with their credit card account.
May 14
-Officers took a harassment complaint from a Swiss Cr. resident.
May 15
-Officers responded to a N. Jackson St. residence in response to a mentally ill subject needing help.
-Police arrested Jeffrey Zeigler, 18, Lima for OVI following a traffic stop on N. Jackson St. for a stop sign violation. The case is pending in Lima Municipal Court.
