Food for thought
Bluffton University junior Manyil Dashe talks with Dr. Ross Kauffman, an assistant professor of public health, at her display about cancer prevention through diet in Bluffton’s Musselman Library. Dashe is among students in Jeanna Haggard’s nutrition education and communication class who, along with students in Heather Bruder’s personal training and exercise class, led activities at a nutrition and fitness fair on “Wellness Wednesday,” Feb. 11, in the library. Haggard and Bruder are assistant professors of food and nutrition and sport management, respectively. The fair was part of the second annual Celebrate the Library week, focusing this year on student research.
