Junior high Pirate girls' and boys' basketball teams recognized on Friday
Lots of spring sports-related activities get underway in March at the junior high level in Bluffton. But first, the successful junior high boys' and girls' basketball teams will be recognized on Friday, Feb. 27. Here's a list of several March events related to Bluffton middle school, from the school website.
JH boys' and girls' basketball recognition
Immediately following the junior varsity game Friday, Feb. 27, recognition will be made to members of the 10,000 shot club, the junior high boys' and girls' junior high basketball teams and the freshmen basketball team. Athletes who attend will get free admission to the game.
Spring sports meeting
The spring sports parent meeting will be held Monday, March 2, in the high school gym at 7 p.m. for any junior high track athlete and their parents. Attendance by both parents and student athletes is mandatory.
Book Club
The next book club meeting is Thursday, March 5, after school until 5 p.m. in Mrs. Armstrong's room. We will be discussing books from the "Land of Stories" series. See Mrs. Armstrong if you have any questions.
Bluffton Diamond Sports spring/summer baseball and softball sign-ups
Registration forms are available in the Middle School office for any 6th grade boy or girl interested in playing baseball or softball. Please stop by and pick up an information sheet and registration form. Deadline to register is March 7.
Lifetouch spring pictures
Spring pictures will be taken at the Middle School Cafetorium on Tuesday, March 17. Please stop by the office to pick up an order form or visit mylifetouch.com for more information.
