Mustard Seed Cafe offers March 27 Tasting of Italian Wines and Pasta
Mustard Seed Café, 562 N. Main St. Bluffton, will be offering A Tasting of Italian Wines and Pasta on Friday, March 27.
In lieu of the regular menu, there will be four courses of pasta paired with four different wines.
There will be two seatings --
5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. -- and reservations are strongly suggested (567-226-1120).
Appetizer Course
• Angel hair pasta nest with mascarpone creme, lemon, basil, peaches, caramelized leeks, and roasted pistachios
• Paired with: Lumassina Frizzante
Main Course:
• Spun linguine with fresh spinach, gorgonzola cream, walnuts, and roasted grapes
• Paired with: Fazi Battaglia, Verdicchio Grape
Entree:
• Baked Lasagne
• Paired with: Salice Salentino, Gran Reserva
Dessert:
• Dusted chocolate pasta filled with sweet ricotta, fresh strawberries and
drizzled in caramel
• Paired with: Bellafina Rosso Dolce
Also featured wil bel the art of local photorealistic watercolor artist, Laura
Barnhardt Corle. She is an ONU alumnus originally from Lima and currently residing in
Findlay where she has a studio in the Jones Building.
