Bart Steiner was a 1979 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School
Bart H. Steiner, 54, of Sentinel Road, Lake Placid, N.Y., died at his home Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Mr. Steiner was born Feb. 17, 1961, in Buffton. He was the son of Walter and Betsy (Zuercher) Steiner.
He was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School, class of 1979. He was employed by Socar Corporation and was also employed by Bigelow Glass Inc., Findlay. After moving to Lake Placid, he had worked at Lake Placid Rental and Supply.
He is survived by his wife: Sarah (Diller) Steiner of Lake Placid, N.Y.; his mother, Betsy (Zuercher) Steiner of Pandora; his daughter, Ashley Wentz and her husband, Josh, and their children, Laila, Avery and Charlee of Pandora; his sister and her husband Dr. Scott and Greta Wolery and their children Emily and Megan of Florence, S.C.
He is also survived by two step daughters, Jenni Quinn White and her husband Joel and their children Jackson and Thea “Teddi” of Kingston, Ontario, Barbie Quinn and her fiancée Chad Arey and their daughter, Maddison Arey of Tupper Lake, N.Y. and father-in-law and mother-in-law Ted and Joan Diller of Blufton.
Bart was predeceased by his father, Walter Steiner and his son, Allen Steiner.
Calling hours will be held in Lake Placid, N.Y., on Tuesday, May 19 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the M. B. Clark, Inc. Funeral Home and in Bluffton, on Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Home followed by a private family service.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Sarah Steiner and on the memo line write “Bart’s Fund”, 5950 Sentinel Rd. # A1, Lake Placid, NY 12946.
