Weather conditions appears to give Bluffton a reprieve from the rain at the moment.
In the meantime, many residents in low-lying areas are pumping basements. At this time (early afternoon, June 16), there is no report of the number of persons affected by the flooding.
Forecasts for the remainder of the week vary but most forecasts call for more rain late Wednesday evening, heavy showers Thursday, possible showers Friday, cloudy and humid Saturday and possible showers and thunderstorms on Sunday.
