First Mennonite Church, 101 S. Jackson St., will observe Mission Sunday on Sunday, July 12. All are invited to hear the Mission Partners, Nancy Frey and Bruce Yoder, preach on "Working Together in God’s Mission" during the worship service at 10:30 a.m.

During the Sunday school hour at 9:15 a.m., Nancy will meet with the children's large group class and Bruce with the adults.

The community is also invited to attend an information conversation with the Frey Yoders and their children, Jeremiah and Deborah, at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 11, in the church's fellowship hall.

The Frey Yoders teach and support local ministry in a variety of settings within Burkina Faso and West Africa. In Ouagadougou, they work with the Mennonite university student hostel and with the leadership of the Evangelical Mennonite Church of Burkina Faso. In addition, they relate to and teach at Mennonite-related leadership training colleges and seminaries in Nigeria, and Benin.
