Youth football clinic at Bluffton University Friday evening
The Bluffton University football staff will conduct a youth football clinic from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, July 24. The clinic takes place on the university practice fields along Rosenberger Drive and Elm Street.
Tampa Bay Buccaneer wide receiver Donteea Dye will be a special guest at the camp. Dye attended Heidelberg University, where he grew into a 6-foot, 195-pound speedster, Division III second-team All-American and signed a contract with the Bucs last spring as an undrafted player.
The clinic is open to first through eighth graders entering school this fall.
University Coach Denny Dorrel said, "This is a great opportunity to come and be coached by the football staff and players of Bluffton University. Learn the fundamentals and techniques the Beavers will be using this fall on offense, defense, and special teams."
Equipment needed for the clinic includes cleats/tennis shoes, shorts, and T-shirt.
