Maple Crest hobby show Thursday evening - 16 residents show their stuff
You’ll see quilt runners, carved elephants, Indian artifacts, oil paintings, brass rubbings and lots more at the Maple Crest Senior Living Community hobby show, from 6:30-8 p.m., Thursday, July 30.
Free and open to the public, the show will be in the Maple Crest Patio Room, 700 Maple Crest Court, just off Augsburger Road, Bluffton. Sixteen Maple Crest residents will display their hobbies.
Displays include:
• Pat Althaus’ quilt runners
• Joan Bauman’s brass rubbings
• Ruth Anna Bixel’s dolls
• Bob Bowersox’ tole paintings
• Larry Burkhalter’s carved elephants
• Jane Hoffman’s paintings, dolls, and handwork
• Robert Hower’s oil paintings
• Roland Knoop’s contract and old bills
• Clarence and Mary Ann Kooker’s photos of “unusual trips”
• John Murray’s “I Love Bluffton” books
• Sally Reeder’s genealogy/family history
• Luther Shetler’s Carvings in Ironwood
• Russel Suter’s Indian artifacts
• Barbara Wood’s “Precious Moments” figurines
• Charles Wood’s music tapes and CDs
