Reva Doty was a 1934 Pandora High School graduate
Reva M. Doty, 99, died July 29, 2015, at 3:20 p.m. at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
Reva was born May 8, 1916, in Putnam County to the late Joseph and Eva (Perkins) Habegger. On March 12, 1939, she married Oren Doty who preceded her in death on April 18, 1998.
Reva was a 1934 graduate of Pandora High School and attended Bliss Business College, Columbus was later employed at Triplett Corporation, Bluffton. She was a life-long member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Mt. Cory and was active in different activities at the church. She was also involved in the farming operation with her husband.
Survivors include two sons Donald O. (Jane) Doty and Kenneth L. (Kathy) Doty both of rural Rawson, Ohio; a daughter Marlene A. (Howard) Johnson of Springboro, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren ; a brother, Wayne Habegger of Florida; and a sister, Frances (Robert) Poe of Findlay, Ohio.
Reva was preceded in death by: one granddaughter; a brother, Lowell Habegger; and three sisters Dorothy Rich, Margaret Males and Helen Gibb.
Services will be held Saturday Aug. 1, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant View United Methodist Church, Mt. Cory. Pastor Mark Fuerstenau officiating. Burial will be in Clymer Cemetery, Mt. Cory following the service.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant View United Methodist Church of WTLW (Channel 44), Lima, Ohio.
