Beaverdam summer festival Saturday evening
Beaverdam's Summer Festival, sponsored by the Beaverdam Fire and EMS, takes place Saturday, Aug. 8, in downtown Beaverdam, according to Nick Nowlan.
The festival includes two live bands, free inflatable games for kids, homemade food and six grand prizes.
This year’s band will be Kevin Ash Band followed by That Lousy Band.
The grand prizes include:
1st prize: Freezer with whole hog
2nd prize: One-fourth Beef
3rd prize: Lake Erie fishing charter
4th prize: Grill
5th prize: Patio set
6th prize: Home safety package
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 (do not have to be present to win the grand prize). There will also be door prizes drawn throughout the night.
