Bluffton chamber invites individuals to join and help promote the community
Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce launches its new membership drive for 2015-16 on Sept. 1.
With the drive the chamber also launches into several fall activities.
The first chamber breakfast of the fall is Friday, Sept. 11, at 7 a.m. in the Bluffton town hall third floor. The meeting will include an update on several chamber events that have taken place this summer. In addition, several new members and new Bluffton businesses will be introduced.
On Thursday, Sept. 17, the chamber sponsors its annual University Business Showcase at Bluffton University's Marbeck Center. This enables members to introduce their products and services to university students.
The September chamber cash mob is Thursday, Sept. 17, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Ten Thousand Villages.
Chamber's Blaze of Lights planning is now underway. Invitations are now going to parade participants. This year's Blaze theme is "A Christmas from the Past."
With nearly 200 members, the chamber is at its highest membership level ever. The chamber offers a special invitation to individuals interested in a chamber membership. An individual may become a member for $50 a year. There are several benefits to a membership, plus the benefit of knowing that you are promoting Bluffton.
