You won't want to pass up this year's MMH silent auction
Mennonite Memorial Home Service Group's annual silent auction is now accepting bids. The auction items are on display in the MMH lobby at 410 W. Elm St.
Several significant items are in this year's auction.
On item, in particular, is an oak roll-top desk, which belonged to Paul Reichenbach (55 inches wide by 44 inches) and was used by him at Reichenbach Lumber.
Other items include Dr. Oliver Lugibihl’s hickory nut pies, a rubber-tire rooster made by Winford Bauman, a Fostoria glass bicentennial plate featuring the Bluffton town hall, a basket of homemade jams, fruits and vegetables, a mantle clock and many other unique items.
Persons interested in making bids may do so between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. through Friday and until noon on Saturday. Bidding will conclude precisely at noon Saturday.
The Service Group will hold a bake sale on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25-26, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. or until items are all sold.
All proceeds from the silent auction and bake sale support projects that benefit the elders living at Mennonite Memorial Home, Maple Crest and Willow Ridge.
