David Stratton joins Allen Economic Development Group
David Stratton of Bluffton joins Allen Economic Development Group as this month as director of business development.
Stratton is responsible for identifying and directing business development opportunities and activities within Allen County.
Jeff Sprague, AEDG director, said, "He will work with government, business and community leaders to develop solutions for economic development within the county."
Stratton brings with him over 25 years' experience in business, as he was previously co-owner of Stratton Greenhouses, The Black Lab Trading Co., and Stratton Properties, each of Bluffton.
He holds a master's of leadership from Wesley Seminary, affiliated with Indiana Wesleyan University.
Before joining the AEDG staff he was pastor of St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora.
"I am excited to interact with many of the business leaders in the county and to join them to enhance their abilities to expand their opportunities for growth," he said.
Stratton is a Bluffton High School graduate and holds a bachelor's degree from Wittenberg.
