Donate now to 2016 fireworks and National Night Out and receive a 2105 tax deduction
Plans are already underway for the 2016 Bluffton National Night Out and you can get in the act before Dec. 31, according to Rick Skilliter, Bluffton police chief.
The 2016 event takes place on Tuesday, Aug. 2, at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool. It is a joint project between Bluffton and Pandora police departments in cooperation with Bluffton, Pandora and Beaverdam-Richland Township EMS.
To cap off the evening, at dusk on Aug. 2 will be a fireworks display, sponsored by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.
A fireworks fund is already established for the 2016 National Night Out. The event sponsors invite businesses and individuals interested in a last-minute tax deduction on this year’s taxes to consider making a donation to the 2016 fireworks prior to Dec. 31.
Donations are tax deductible. They may be made in any amount to:
2016 Fireworks Fund
Village of Bluffton
154 N. Main St.
Bluffton, OH 45817
The fireworks costs approximately $9,000 and 100 percent of the contributions are donations from area businesses, individuals and organizations.
All events taking place at National Night Out are free and open to the community.
This year was Bluffton’s second celebration and it had an estimated attendance of more than 2,500 persons. For more information about National Night Out and the fireworks program contact Skilliter.
