Senior Citizen Association picks three for Volunteers of the Year
Deloris Hermon, Mary Hofstetter and Leannah Reigle.
These three women will receive Volunteer of the Year Award this year from the Bluffton Senior Citizens Association according to Tonya Meyer, director.
Typically the association’s directors chose one person, but not year. According to Meyer, director, the three women chosen are all quilters and do many other craft and sewing projects for the center.
“They also help out on fund raisers and other activities. Because the are so active, the board could not choose just one of them to receive the award. Instead the board honored all three,” she said.
The announcement was in the January center newsletter, which lists lots of other senior center activities. It is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
