Beaverdam-Richland Fire and EMS receives Community Investment funds
Beaverdam-Richland Fire and EMS was one of 12 area fire and EMS agencies that was a recipient of funds released at the EMS/FD Award Recognition Luncheon on Feb. 2 at St. Rita's Medical Center.
The event recognized the area EMS and fire agencies awarded Community Investment funds from St. Rita’s Health Partners.
The Community Investment funds assist local EMS and fire agencies with the anticipated costs of replacing or upgrading heart-related EMS equipment.
Examples of this equipment include: heart monitors, heart monitor modems, AEDs, CPR devices, and/or any other cardiac related EMS equipment that the agencies feel is applicable and needed.
This year's funds awarded totaled $125,000, divided up the 12 departments.
