Masterworks performance of Vivaldi's "Dixit Dominus" Feb. 28 in Yoder Recital Hall
Bluffton University’s Masterworks performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s, “Dixit Dominus,” will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28, in Yoder Recital Hall.
The choir is comprised of two different choral groups: Bluffton Choral Society and University Chorale. Dr. Mark J. Suderman, Bluffton professor of music, will conduct the performance, featuring regional soloists and orchestra.
The two soloists are originally from West Central Ohio, Sarah Diller (Bluffton, Ohio) and Stephanie Schoenhofer (Lima, Ohio).
In addition, outstanding high school students will be performing during the first half of the program. They will be competing for large music scholarships in the finals of the Performing Scholars Competition, sponsored by the Bluffton University Music Department.
A free-will offering will be taken to help cover the cost of the event.
