Dave Haas to perform dulcimer concert, teach workshops, April 23
Dave Haas, a "nationally-acclaimed performer and recording artist" will perform on the mountain dulcimer Saturday, April 23, at 7 p.m. at the Bluffton Town Hall. He'll play a variety of music, including traditional fiddle tunes, Celtic favorites, hymns, classical, and contemporary arrangements.
Haas grew up in Findlay and now lives in Charleston, WV, where he is a a chemistry professor at the University of Charleston. More information on Haas is available at www.davehaasmusic.com.
He will be accompanied by Joe Steiner, Findlay, who plays banjo, as well as guitar, harmonica, mandolin, bass, or mountain dulcimer.
