It was contract night on April 18 for the Bluffton school board as many contracts for this spring and for next school year were approved.

Action involved:

• Seventeen certified contracts for 2016-17
• Four classified contracts for 2016-17
• Twenty-nine supplemental contracts for 2016-17

Also, the board approved several Saturday school supervisors and classified employees.

Class fees and handbooks for elementary, middle and high school for 2016-17 were also approved.

And, in preparation for next school year, the board approved several agreements with involving other educational-related organizations.
