Annual ‘Family Day’ set for April 30 at The Quarry Farm
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm is holding an annual Family Day on Saturday, April 30, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
Bring yourself, friends and family for an afternoon open house of fun in the gardens, woods, and wetlands. A representative from Black Swamp Raptor Rehabilitation Center, Pandora, will be onsite with several birds of prey.
Attendees of all ages can make their very own walking staff and take it with them along the trails to count spring wildflowers, butterflies and visit with the residents of the farm animal sanctuary. "Lasting Leaf" t-shirts may also be made for a donation to the nonprofit organization in support of educational programming.
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm is located 1/8 mile north of 14321 Road 7L, Pandora. For more information, visit www.thequarryfarm.org or call 419-384-7195.
