Rachel Woodruff named Newcomb Scholar
Rachel Woodruff, daughter of David and Margie Woodruff, Bluffton, was awarded the Newcomb Scholar award at Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences recognition program in April.
The award recognizes five students with the highest academic ranking in each grade level within the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the School of Environment and Natural Resources and the Agricultural Technical Institute.
Woodruff is majoring in horticultural science and greenhouse and nursery management. She was recognized among students in their second year at Ohio State ATI.
