Triplett Memorial Foundation recognizes Sam Diller for 29 years of service
Sam Diller was recognized last week by the R. L. and Etta L. Triplett Memorial Foundation board.
Diller was a charter member of the foundation, having served along with Eugene Benroth, Harold Balmer and Jean and Morris Triplett, beginning in 1985 until his retirement from the board last year.
Not only did Diller give 29 years of service the foundation, but he provided office space and secretarial service at no cost, as well as serving for many years as the foundation treasurer.
During those 29 years, the foundation has donated well over $100,000 to various organizations and honorees in the Bluffton community.
“It is Sam’s love for Bluffton that motivated him not only to return to Bluffton after his college years, and establish his law firm here, but to donated his time and effort in many ways to make this a better community for all,” said Tomm Triplett, board president.
“His efforts will continue, even after his retirement from the board. It is people like Sam who perform behind-the-scenes work that have helped make Bluffton such a great place to live,” said Triplett.
The current R. L. and Etta L. Triplett Memorial Foundation board members are Tomm Triplett, president; Pam Weisenbarger, secretary, James S. West, treasurer, and Fred Steiner.
