Pleasant View and Mount Cory's United Methodist churches will co-host this year's Vacation Bible School from Monday, Aug. 8, through Friday, Aug. 12, from 7  to 8:30 p.m. at the Mount Cory Church, 300 N. Main St., Mount Cory.

The VBS has classes for 4 years of age (toilet trained) through 7th grade. This
year's theme is "Adventures on Promise Island"  Excitement and fun await as kids learn about promises that God made to Bible people. The kids will also see how those promises are for them too!

Children in VBS will be a large part of the morning services on Sunday, Aug. 14, at 10 a.m. followed by a luncheon provided at the Bethel Family Life Center.
