BFR offers women's self-defense class July 21
A women’s self-defense class is the latest program offered by Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, BFR director.
The class takes place at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 21, at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton. Rick Stoermer is the instructor. The class last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Class objectives include:
• Building self-confidence
• Mental awareness
• Strike points of the body
• Common items as weapons
The class is open to women ages 13 and up. There is a $5 donation per family to benefit BFR youth programming.
