Teams forming now at Southgate; first weekend of open bowling Sept. 8-10
Southgate Lanes, Bluffton, is preparing for the 2016-17 bowling season, according to Derek Dukes.
The first weekend of bowling is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8-10.
Dukes said that in addition to open bowling that weekend, the Maria Sein brewery will hold a Tap Takeover Sept. 8-10 and will bring five different draft beers and Southgate will offer different flights to try all five flavors.
Teams are forming now and there are several pre-season meetings planned, which include:
• Fortman Insurance Open Men's League
• Water Equipment Men's League
• Queens Women's League
• Community Open League
• Bontrager Construction Men's League
• Amerigas Open League
• Saturday Open League
