B-W takes down women's soccer 5-0

BEREA, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's soccer team made a trip to Northeast Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 17, for a non-conference meeting with Baldwin Wallace University. The Yellow Jackets netted five tallies in the first 32 minutes en route to a 5-0 shutout of the visiting Beavers. Bluffton fell to 0-3 on the season, while B-W upped its mark to 5-2-1.
Skylar Liming (St. Marys/Memorial) led the Beavers with three shots, two on frame. Freshman keeper Courtney Davis (Richmond, MI/Richmond) notched 10 saves in the setback. The home squad finished with a 22-3 advantage in shots and a 5-0 margin on corner kicks.
Bluffton will return to the pitch with a 7 p.m. meeting at Otterbein University on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
