Youth programs launch this week at BFR
Several fall youth programs launch this week at Bluffton Family Recreation, according to Joseph Beagle, director.
And, although some are already underway there’s still time to join any of the classes.
The fall session started Sept. 18 and continues until Oct. 28. Here are the youth programs available:
• Tennis –Ask Tyler at the front desk for class times
• Rookie sports – Tuesdays, 4:15 to 5 p.m.
• K-3 basketball – Thursdays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
• Tiny tots – Fridays, 10 to 10:30 a.m.
• Open play- Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 a.m. to noon
• K-6 dodgeball – Fridays, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
• U-7 soccer fun – Fridays, 5:15 to 6 p.m.
In addition, registration is now underway for BFR’s 5th and 6th grade volleyball tournament to be held Saturday, Nov. 5. All matches take place at BFR, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton, Registration is $200 per team, and three games are guaranteed. Matches are held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
