Christie's on the Square, Columbus Grove, hosts Alzheimer's fund raiser
On Saturday, Aug. 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Christie's on the Square, 101 S. High Street, Columbus Grove, and the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter will raise funds for local community individuals, families and friends suffering from Alzheimer's disease or another related memory loss disorder.
The locally owned and unique chocolate/fudge shop will provide 20% of the proceeds of any chocolate or candy purchase to the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter during the event with information being disseminated and donations being accepted in the store beginning Tuesday, Aug. 3. (Alcohol purchases are not included in the 20% donation.)
Proceeds raised will be used to fund the full mission of the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter that includes providing free educational and supportive programs to individuals and families, various advocacy activities and research for a cure of this terminal disease.
