Third annual Drew Rayle Memorial game set for Saturday
The third annual Drew Rayle Memorial midget football game, honoring a Bluffton youth who died in 2014, takes place Saturday, Oct. 1, at 5 p.m. in Memorial Park, North Baltimore. The event supports the Drew Rayle Memorial Fund.
This is an epilepsy awareness event. During his brief life, Rayle, as an elementary student, attended school in North Baltimore and later moved to Bluffton where he attended school. He played midget football for both teams.
The evening begins with a 5th-6th grade Bluffton Buccaneers vs. North Baltimore Tigers midget football game at 5 p.m.
During the game there will be a 50/50 raffle, halftime balloon release and bake sale.
Joining the annual event for the second year is a 5K night glow run. Registration is from 7 to 8 p.m. The race is at 8 p.m. Registration fee is $25.
Individuals, businesses and organizations are invited to donation prizes. Contact Jennifer Fred Ritz at 419-575-3681 or on Facebook.
