Meet the new student senate members at the middle school
Bluffton Middle School is busy this fall. Here’s some of the news items from the Bluffton school website.
Newest members of the student senate are:
8th Grade: Cierra Ackerman, Clara Matthews and Julia Smallcombe
7th Grade: Lauren Gray, Reagan Mittendorf and Skyler Scoles
6th Grade: Amy Jebsen, Olivia Matthews and Olivia Smallcombe
Lifetouch Picture Re-Takes
Picture re-takes will be taken on Wednesday, Oct. 5. Order forms can be picked up in the office. For more information, visit mylifetouch.com.
Scheduled 2-Hour Delays
Bluffton has a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Oct. 26, so teachers can attend professional development meetings.
Girls’ basketball open gym
Open gyms are Mondays from 6:30-8 p.m. in the high school gym and also on Sundays beginning Oct. 2.
Boys’ basketball open gym
Boys basketball open gyms are Wednesdays from 6:30-8 p.m. in the high school gym.
Campus Life
Club 56 (current 5th and 6th graders) will meet every Monday after school until 4:15 p.m. beginning Oct. 3. Club M (current 7th and 8th graders) meets Tuesday nights starting Oct. 4, from 7:41 to 9 p.m. For more information, please contact Gwen Sprague, 567-204-3780 or [email protected]
Clip UPC Labels for cash; empty printer cartridges
Bluffton PTO collects UPC labels to help raise money for Bluffton Schools. There is a collection box in each of the school offices. The PTO are collects UPC labels on Our Family products, "Box Top for Education" labels, "Book Spree" UPC labels found on Sunny D products, and Community Market receipts.
The PTO also collects empty printer/toner cartridges, which can be dropped off in the school offices.
