Ada Festival of Trees set Nov. 13-18
Planning is underway for the Ada Community Health Professionals 19th annual Festival of Trees.
This year's festival is from Sunday to Friday, Nov. 13-18 at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada.
Deb Curlis of CHP says, "Community groups and individuals are invited to sponsor a tree, wreath or decoration for the fund-raiser. Proceeds assist CHP's hospice program."
The schedule follows:
• Sunday, Nov. 13 - Appreciation party, children may shop for gifts at $1 each; grab and go wreaths, $5, 1-3 p.m.
• Monday, Nov. 14 - Holiday cookie contest, 5:30 p.m
• Tuesday, Nov. 15 - Christmas Bingo, 2 p.m.
• Wednesday, Nov. 16 - Kid's story time and crafts, 4-6 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 17 - Fazoli's spaghetti luncheon, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
• Friday, Nov. 18 - Pizza party, 5 p.m.; closing on silent auction item bids, 6 p.m.; pick up items between 6-8 p.m.
The festival has free admission from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Items available for silent auction are awarded to the highest bidder.
