Nov. 5 seminar on protecting intellectual property
Jacob Ward, patent attorney for Fraser Clemens Martin & Miller LLC, offers advice on protecting intellectual property, ideas and innovations at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Bluffton University in Centennial Hall, room 211.

Ward has professional expertise in patent preparation and prosecution, as well as providing opinions related to patentability, infringement, and freedom-to-practice. Ward will offer ideas and opinions on the steps to accumulating copyright, trademark and patents for individual ideas, designs, logos, and inventions. Following the seminar will be time for question and answer, and attention to individualized ideas and concerns.
BCE will conclude its business tune-up seminar series with "Year End Tax Planning/Record Keeping Issues" on Nov. 19. This seminar will be held Bluffton University in Centennial Hall, room 211 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs is a not-for-profit regional business support center offering professional assistance and customized mentoring to entrepreneurs and small businesses, especially during their first few years in the business.
