26-year-old Pandora woman charged in Lima bank robbery
A Pandora woman, Nicole Shoopman, 26, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery following a bank robbery in Lima on Monday.
According to Allen County sheriff deputies, Shoopman is believed to be the same woman who robbed the same bank last week.
Shoopman was expected to appear at a bond hearing Wednesday at Lima Municipal Court.
The robbery occurred at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, at Fifth Third Bank on Hardin Highway, Lima.
A witness provided a possible vehicle description and license plate number, Allen County Sheriff Chief Deputy Jimmy Everett said.
Later in the day, that vehicle was located in Pandora where Pandora police and a Putnam County sheriff deputy took Shoopman into custody.
The FBI is assisting the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
