Men's Soccer drops 2-0 decision at Manchester

NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. - The Manchester University men's soccer team scored twice in the first half and made it hold up as the Spartans took down Bluffton University 2-0 on a cool and overcast Wednesday, Oct. 26. Bluffton fell to 3-14 overall and 0-8 in the Heartland Conference, while Manchester improved to 8-6-3 on the season and 2-5-1 in the HCAC.
The home team finished with a 16-3 advantage in shots, however, it was just 4-1 on frame. Manchester was called for two more fouls, 16-14, while forcing all nine corner kicks in the match.
Bluffton will wrap up its first campaign with Head Coach James Kusak on Saturday, Oct. 29. The Senior Day tussle with Transylvania is slated for 3:30 p.m. at the Sears Complex. Come out and support your Beavers!
