Marilyn Hart, 85, died Nov. 6, 2016, at her residence. Marilyn was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Allen Park, Michigan, to the late Harry and Helen (Nonnamaker) Moore. On March 17, 1951, she married William Hart who preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 2006.
Marilyn retired from Lee County Transit in Ft. Myers, Florida, had worked at Ex-Cello Corporation, Bluffton, and also owned and operated with her husband, Bill's Country Butcher Shop. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton and was a graduate of Bluffton High School.
Survivors include a son, William (Karen) Hart of Stevensville, Michigan; a daughter, Nancy (Michael) Parish of Pandora; six grandchildren, Bill (Lindsey) Bowers of Bluffton, Jennifer (Josh) Augsburger of Rudolph, Ohio, Trica (Tony) Bailey of Canton, Michigan, Ben Hart of Jackson, Michigan, Matt Hart of Richland, Wisconsin, Amanda (Jason) Dines of Stevensville, Michigan; and eight great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by a daughter, Catherine Hart; a brother, Keith Moore; and a great grandson, Kyle Trentman.
Services will be held Friday, Nov. 11, at 10:30 a.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
