Trevor Bassitt signs letter of intent to attend Ashland
Bluffton High School senior Trevor Bassitt signed a Letter of Intent to participate in track and field at Ashland University. The signing was on Nov. 16.
Trevor will join Coach Jud Logan and the Ashland University track team next fall.
As a high school track athlete, Trevor is the school’s record holder in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.53. He is a two-time state qualifier in the 110m hurdles, a qualifier in the high jump, and won the Division III 110m hurdles in 2016.
Trevor has been named to the Academic All-Ohio Track and Field Team, in 2015 and 2016.
In 2016, Trevor was also named the Northwest Conference Male Athlete of the Year after winning the 110m hurdles and the 300m hurdles. Trevor is also a member of the basketball team, an FCA leader, and maintains a 3.6 GPA.
