Emily Kurland, nurse practitioner, joins Northwest Ohio OB/GYN staff
Northwest Ohio OB/GYN announces Emily Kurland has joined its staff, according to Dr. Desrene Brown. She is accepting new patients.
Kurland is a certified as a women’s health care nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she was a registered nurse as a labor and delivery nurse. She also has experience in high-risk antepartum unit, postpartum unit and newborn nursery.
Prior to joining the Bluffton practice she provided care for U.S. Navy service members and families in the obstetrics and gynecology division in San Diego and in private practice in Jacksonville, Fla.
Kurland is a magna cum laude graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s of science in nursing degree. She also holds a master’s of science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth, with a concentration in women’s health care.
Northwest Ohio OB/GYN is located at 547 Harmon Road, Bluffton, phone 419-369-4600. It also has offices in Ottawa and Findlay.
