BLUFFTON, Ohio - Bluffton University’s D'Nae Reese (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) re-set her own Bluffton University record in the weight throw and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week following her great performance at the Northwest Ohio Invitational on Friday, Jan. 13.

Reese placed seventh among 31 NCAA Division II and NAIA competitors at Findlay on Friday night. The junior’s 56’ 10.75” effort is the fifth-best throw in the nation amongst Division III athletes this season. It marks the second HCAC Field Athlete of the Week honor in the past two years for Reese!

The Bluffton University track and field team will travel to Tiffin for their next outing on Saturday, Jan. 21, at noon.
