Rain barrel decorating contest Feb. 10-12
The Blanchard River Watershed Partnership will sponsor a rain barrel decorating contest at the Findlay Village Mall during the mall car show to be held on Feb. 10-12, according to Phil Martin of the partnership.
Twenty-four rain barrels have been entered in this year’s contest. All barrels will be on display at the mall on Feb. 10 - 11.
The public may vote for their favorite barrel starting at 5 p.m. on Feb. 10 and on Saturday.
The three category themes are agricultural, watershed and general theme.
The winners will be announced on Sunday, Feb, 12 at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the top five in each category and the People’s Choice Award.

The BRWP represents the six counties of the Blanchard River Watershed and is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving water quality through developing citizen involvement and watershed action plans.
