Bluffton's new Mexican restaurant is "a small beautiful town"
4-PAGE CARRY-OUT MENU AT BOTTOM OF STORY!
Enrique Cabrera named his new Bluffton Mexican restaurant and cantina “A Small Beautiful Town.” That translates to Spanish as “Campito Lindo.”
Campito Lindo will open this week – perhaps as soon as Wednesday - at 142 N. Main St. The opening is pending getting final preparations in place, said Cabrera. If it is not open by Wednesday, it will certainly be open by the end of the week.
The local restaurant crowd should be familiar with the selections offered in the new restaurant since Cabrera is also the owner of “El Campo,” (Spanish for “field”) on Main Street, Ada.
The Ada restaurant is now in its 10th year of operation. Both restaurants will carry the same menu, with Bluffton’s having two new dishes.
To review the menu, see the attachment at the bottom. It includes Campito Lindo’s carryout menu.
The menu includes house specialties, lunch, desserts, appetizers, salads, children’s plates, combinations, chicken, seafood, steak, fajitas, and a bar.
To the question: “What is your favorite dish on your menu?” Cabrera answers: “I have many favorites, and then points to “fajita Texanas” on his menu.
It includes tender-sliced beef, chicken and shrimp stir-fried with bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. It comes in a sizzling skillet with rice, beans, guacamole salad, flour tortillas and sour cream.
With nearly everything in place, Cabrera says he may need an additional server and person to handled the cash register.
A grand opening is planned later.
