Fran Core leads talk on "Creatures of the Kingdom"
Fran Core will discuss the book “Creatures of the Kingdom,” by James Michener during Monday's “Our Version of Adult Learning” (OVAL) offered by the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center.
The book takes readers into the minds of animals and the world of nature.
The free program open to the public takes place at the Center, 132 N. Main St., at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, April 10.
Two remaining OVAL April programs are:
Monday, April 17 – Lynn Miller will show photos and talk about his walk on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain and Portugal. This is a pilgrimage trail, which he has taken twice.
Monday, April 24 – LaRee Little will tell about the history of the Dixie Highway using photos and stories. The highway runs through Bluffton (Main Street).
Persons may call the Center at 419-358-8971 for more information about these programs.
The Bluffton Senior Center plans OVAL classes through May. Watch the Icon for additional programs.
