Knezovich takes 2nd at All-Ohio Decathlon

NEW CONCORD, Ohio - At the end of Day 1 at the All-Ohio Championship decathlon, Kyle Knezovich (Utica) was in 2nd place with a score of 3062 points.
Saturday's events were the 100 meters (11.77 seconds which is a PR), long jump (19-10.25), shot put (28-11), high jump (5-11.25 which is a PR) and 400 meters (52.15 which is a 3rd PR).
Competition resumed Sunday, April 9, on the campus of Muskingum University. Knezovich finished the decathlon in 2nd place with 5986 points which broke the
school record set in 1986! He won both the pole vault (14-07.25) and javelin (153-04) within the 5 events contested on Sunday.
The Beavers travel to Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday, April 15, to compete in the All-Ohio Championships.
