Bluffton Senior Citizens will celebrate Irene Baumgartner’s 90th birthday during the Monday, Aug 14, senior monthly dinner meeting. Baumgartner turns 90 in August and will receive a life membership in the association.

Meanwhile, Larry Cress from Wheelhouse, a Christian Bicycle Cooperative in Lima, will present the evening program on the group’s mission. Ted’s Market will cater the meal. Tickets are $7.50 and must be purchased by Aug. 9. The program starts at 6 p.m. in the Center, 132 N. Main St.

Several additional programs are on the Center’s August calendar. These include:
• Deb’s Workshop, Wednesday, Aug. 9, 1 p.m. – non-sewing project involving printing on paper using shaving cream and food coloring.

• August movie is “Hidden Figures,” on Friday, Aug. 11, 1 p.m.

• Card-making workshop, Wednesday, Aug. 16, 10 a.m. lead by Jean Cook

• Medicare 101 workshop, Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2:30 p.m., presented by Allen County Council on Aging.
