These are the first four programs on this fall’s Bluffton Senior Citizens Center “Our Version of Adult Learning,” (OVAL) schedule.
Tonya Meyer, association director, announced OVAL’s weekly schedule of programs for September and October.
Here’s the schedule:
• Monday, Sept. 18 – 9:30 a.m. - Dennis Morrison presents “Found treasures from Bluffton.”
• Thursday, Sept. 28 – 11:30 a.m. – Jodi Turnwald, Bluffton Hearing Center, presents “How the ear works”
• Monday, Oct. 2 – 9:30 a.m. – Bob Minto, artist, presents a pottery demonstration
• Thursday, Oct. 5 – A trip to historic Roscoe Village, Coshocton. Bus leaves Bluffton at 7:15 a.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 12 – 11 a.m. – Jonah Agner, The Food Store, presents a healthy fall cooking food demonstration
• Thursday, Oct. 19 and 26 – 9:30 a.m. – John Rich presents a bread baking class
• Monday, Oct. 30 – 10 a.m. – Judy Green presents a program about Laura Ingalls Wilder
The Sept. 18, 28 and Oct. 2 classes are free. There is a minimal charge for the Oct. 12, Oct. 19, Oct. 26 and Oct. 30 classes. The Oct. 5 Roscoe Village trip has an $80 cost for members and $95 for non-members. Reservations and payment is due by Sept. 5.
